America's greatest BBQ! (coming soon)

March 31 - Back to his roots...
Even though I've come to be known as the King of 80s Metal, my Southern roots have always been obvious. I've made no secret that I'm actually a huge country music fan. Hell, even my old concert gallery featured pics of Shania Twain. I've thrown plugs for Sonny's BBQ, mentioned an affinity for biscuits and gravy, chicken and waffles, and a laidback lifestyle much more appropriate to country living. And now that I find myself far away from the glitz and glamour of California, I'm comfortable returning to my old skin.

In the past few months - I cut my hair. I changed my look to please the universe. I'm gonna make a joke of the man I used to be.

So I've done a little redesign, following in the footsteps of many e-friends who've reinvented themselves online in recent weeks. I'm not abandoning my past, but let's be honest... The 80s metal scene just isn't growing anymore. I've no interest in being part of an elitist clique only concerned with living on the edge. I'm of the belief that life is meant to move forwards, and not at hyper speed.

If you've never given country music a chance, take a listen to FJ Rebel Radio. You can check out some old favorites, and some other folks you might have never heard. The 80s metal scene and the country scene are actually quite similar - I think most of my longtime readers will come to enjoy it once they open their minds a bit more.

Thanks to those who've given support over the many years I've been running this site, and I hope that you'll still stick around as it develops.
